«Pronti ad entrare nella Tierra del Fuego. Solo 7 giorni in bici ci separano dalla nostra meta e due dal traghetto di due ore che ci farà arrivare all’ultima regione del nostro viaggio. Dopo aver vissuto la Patagonia tra le più grandi meraviglie che ha da regalare ed essere stati al Perito Moreno, Fitz Roy e Torres del Paine, i nostri occhi e cuori sono pieni di meraviglia e felicità. Le previsioni per i prossimi giorni sono vento e vento. Il vento in faccia o di lato che non ti fa avanzare e quello da dietro che ti spinge verso la fine. Passeremo le notti fino ad Ushuaia nei rifugi che sono stati costruiti dal governo argentino per le persone che hanno bisogno di quattro mura per mettere la loro tenda e ripararsi dal vento. La prossima volta che scriveremo saremo a Ushuaia, probabilmente arriveremo e la troveremo con la neve. Ogni tanto pensiamo all’estate europea che ci aspetta».

The big journey of our Diletta and David is coming to an end. We have followed them from the preparation stages in Europe, and we certainly don’t want to miss the grand finale. Follow their travel diary on qui.cicloturismo.it.
“Ready to enter Tierra del Fuego. Only 7 days by bike separate us from our destination and two from the two-hour ferry that will take us to the last region of our journey. After experiencing Patagonia among the greatest wonders it has to offer and having been to Perito Moreno, Fitz Roy, and Torres del Paine, our eyes and hearts are filled with wonder and happiness. The forecasts for the coming days are wind and wind. The wind in your face or from the side that doesn’t let you progress and the wind from behind that pushes you towards the end. We will spend the nights until Ushuaia in the shelters that have been built by the Argentine government for people who need four walls to put up their tent and shelter from the wind. The next time we write, we will be in Ushuaia, we will probably arrive and find it covered in snow. Occasionally, we think about the European summer that awaits us.”

El gran viaje de nuestra Diletta y David está llegando a su fin. Los hemos seguido desde las etapas de preparación en Europa, y ciertamente no queremos perdernos el gran final. Sigue su diario de viaje en qui.cicloturismo.it.
“Listos para entrar en Tierra del Fuego. Solo nos separan 7 días en bicicleta de nuestro destino y dos del ferry de dos horas que nos llevará a la última región de nuestro viaje. Después de experimentar la Patagonia entre las mayores maravillas que tiene para ofrecer y de haber estado en Perito Moreno, Fitz Roy y Torres del Paine, nuestros ojos y corazones están llenos de asombro y felicidad. Las previsiones para los próximos días son viento y más viento. El viento en la cara o de lado que no te deja avanzar y el viento de atrás que te empuja hacia el final. Pasaremos las noches hasta Ushuaia en los refugios que ha construido el gobierno argentino para las personas que necesitan cuatro paredes para poner su tienda y resguardarse del viento. La próxima vez que escribamos, estaremos en Ushuaia, probablemente lleguemos y la encontremos cubierta de nieve. De vez en cuando pensamos en el verano europeo que nos espera.”
