Sono partiti. Diletta & David hanno lasciato Bogotà e hanno cominciato a pedalare attraverso la Colombia. Il progetto Aire Libre, che a maggio 2024 li porterà nel Parco della Patagonia, è ufficialmente partito. Seguite il viaggio di D&D insieme a noi.
«Primo giorno pedalando, e voi vi chiederete perché nella foto non ci sono bici. È come se stamattina il viaggio avesse bussato alla porta e ci avesse svegliato dopo una settimana di vacanza a Bogotà. Tutta salita, poi tutta discesa fino a Fusa. Freddo, caldo, umido. Lo stiamo facendo per davvero, e si è fatto sentire fisicamente e mentalmente. Poi siamo arrivati da Oscar dove dormiremo stanotte, ci ha portato a vedere la sua piantagione di caffè. Dopo due ore a camminare con Oscar, io e David ci siamo guardati e gli ho detto “questo è uno dei tanti motivi per cui stiamo viaggiando in bici”. Un sorriso come risposta e un “stavo pensando la stessa cosa per le ultime due ore”».

They have departed. Diletta & David have left Bogotá and started cycling through Colombia. The Aire Libre project, which will take them to Patagonia National Park in May 2024, is officially underway. Follow D&D’s journey with us.
«First day of cycling, and you might wonder why there are no bikes in the photo. It’s as if this morning, the journey knocked on our door and woke us up after a week of vacation in Bogotá. Uphill all the way, then downhill to Fusa. Cold, hot, humid. We are really doing it, and it has been physically and mentally challenging. Then we arrived at Oscar’s place where we’ll spend the night, and he took us to see his coffee plantation. After two hours of walking with Oscar, David and I looked at each other, and I said, ‘This is one of the many reasons we’re traveling by bike.’ A smile as a response and a ‘I’ve been thinking the same thing for the past two hours’».

«Primer día de pedaleo, y te preguntarás por qué no hay bicicletas en la foto. Es como si esta mañana el viaje hubiera llamado a nuestra puerta y nos hubiera despertado después de una semana de vacaciones en Bogotá. Cuesta arriba todo el tiempo, luego cuesta abajo hasta Fusa. Frío, calor, humedad. Realmente lo estamos haciendo, y ha sido un desafío físico y mental. Luego llegamos a casa de Oscar, donde pasaremos la noche, y nos llevó a ver su plantación de café. Después de dos horas de caminar con Oscar, David y yo nos miramos, y yo dije: ‘Esta es una de las muchas razones por las que estamos viajando en bicicleta‘. Una sonrisa como respuesta y un ‘He estado pensando lo mismo durante las últimas dos horas’».
